I am currently in the process of buying a house and I have had to move out of my flat to a hotel due to my term ending at the flat. I told my Internet provider to stop services on the phone line but I was happy to continue paying service fee's until the term of the contract ended or continue the service when I have moved into the new house.
Instead they decided to cancel the contract and want to charge me Â£300 for doing so, the contract has only about 6-7 months left on it and I have been paying it for over 2 years.
In this time they have charged me twice for the same bill and have had consistently slower speeds than their competitors. They did not believe me about their speed so I sent them a comparative report of their speed and another companies Internet speed within the same building. Funnily enough they did not respond.
I have offered them Â£50 as a settlement. Do not ever use this company!
